ABOUT DAVID: David Robinson was born in the state of Alabama on September 2^nd 1965 and was adopted by two loving parents and raised in a very small town named Sylacauga, which was known for 3 things. The whitest, purest marble in the world, the home of actor Jim Nabors and the only place on earth that a person has been struck by a meteorite! It’s true.  

In January of 1985 David went to Fort Knox, Kentucky for 3 months of basic training in which he graduated at the top of his class, earning the BEST SCOUT AWARD of his troop, Delta 5^th Cavalry. He then served the next 5 years in the Alabama Army National Guard under Commander in Chief, President Ronald Wilson Regan. 

In 1990, David became intrigued with the art of close-up magic tricks and the rest is history! he has performed twice on the David Letterman Show, Comedy Central, and Comic Relief. In 2000, David put together the “Harry Potter” Presentation at Universal Studios Hollywood. He has spent the last 5 years touring the world, both land and at sea with his spectacular show of illusions.  

On September 11^th 2001, David was flying back to the United States from Hong Kong and arrived in Memphis, Tennessee early that morning. Thirty minutes later, David was awaiting his connecting flight to Birmingham when President George W. Bush came across the television screen in a children’s classroom, announcing that our country was under a terrorist attack. All Flights were canceled and David had to take a Greyhound bus the remainder of the way home, not knowing the horror that would be replayed over and over on the airways that evening and months to come. David still keeps his airline ticket as a reminder that freedom comes with a price, which is sometimes with the loss of American lives. After traveling the world, David knows how good we have it in America and how so many of us take our freedoms for granted. 

 In 1990 a great American, known as Lt.Col. Oliver North, founded an organization known as “The Freedom Alliance”. It was a program put together to help provide a college education to the children of our fallen heroes. In addition to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, thousands more have been seriously injured, leaving their families in difficult financial situations. Enter the help of syndicated radio talk show host, Sean Hannity! (also seen on the Fox News Channel) Sean has climbed aboard helping the cause by promoting the Freedom Concert every year. With Sean and Col. North’s help, the Freedom Alliance has been able to raise millions of dollars but due to the increased war on terror, more help is needed! 

David has now joined the crusade by dedicating his show to help raising more funds. His show will take place in churches all across the nation starting January, 2006. We are reaching out to our Christian communities to aid us with this worthy cause. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Conservative, or Liberal, It’s now time to put aside our political differences by reaching out to help the children our brave soldiers have left behind. Help me, help Them.
